Candice Dickens-Russell is Chief Executive Officer of Friends of the Los Angeles River (FoLAR), where she advances a healthy, accessible River through advocacy, education, and community engagement. With more than two decades of nonprofit environmental experience, she has led multimillion-dollar initiatives and built partnerships across sectors. Her leadership centers environmental justice, equitable access to nature, and the belief that communities should help shape the environmental decisions that affect their lives.
