Mason Ng
Staff Architect, City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs
Mason Ng serves as the Staff Architect for the Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), where he plays a key role in supporting the Cultural Affairs Commission. His responsibilities include screening and reviewing architectural projects located on public land, including major sites such as Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the LA Convention Center, and city parks. In addition, Mason provides guidance on renovations across DCA’s network of 32 cultural centers and theaters, including notable sites like Barnsdall Art Park, and Watts Towers Arts Center Campus.
With well over 15 years of experience as a practicing architect, Mason has led commercial and residential projects throughout Los Angeles and China. He has also contributed to the architectural community through his past service on the board of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Pasadena & Foothill Chapter.
